The WGA, My Beard, and Speachless.
There’s been some Facebook discussion about the dentonmd beard and I wanted to clear the air.
1. It’s being grown to support the writers strike
2. I will shave when it’s over
3. It itches like hell
4. I figure if Maggie Gyllenhaal, Zoe Kazan, Allyson Sereboff and Diana Paschal can do the below video I can support by growing a beard.

So who is supporting all the folks the WGA strike is putting out of work.. you know, the NON-WRITERS, who can’t pay their rent now…

Hey J-vet,
Unfortunately no one is. The majority of my friends who work on sets (grips, lighting, designers) are all looking for short-term, bill-paying work like waiting tables or bar tending. It’s not just those folks either some writers don’t get paid enough when work is steady to support themselves through the strike. The whole Hollywood community has essentially banded together to support this effort. Not just those actors who are recording the speechless videos or growing strike beards, but diner owners are pitching in to support. Check out this link. http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/080107/0345641.html
